The Romanian authorities transmitted, on Monday night, a new RO-Allert message for the northern area of Tulcea county, against the background of the Ukraine, according to Agerpres.
The population has been warned about the fact that there is the possibility of falling objects in the air space, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations reports.
Also, the citizens of Tulcea were urged to adopt protective measures during the air alarm that was about 90 minutes.
“Following the air alert, there were no calls to the unique emergency number 112,” said IGSU Delta spokesman Daniel Năstase.
It is not for the first time that the people of Tulcea receive a RO-Allert message after an attack by Russia in Ukraine. At the beginning of August, IGSU sent a RO-ALERT message to the northern area of Tulcea County after a massive Russia attack in the Ismail area. MAPN has lifted two F-16 fighter jets from the ground.
Last year, several debris without crew was found in Tulcea County by the Romanian authorities as a result of the Russian attacks near the border with Romania.
