Yellow storm code in 17 counties. The announcement of the meteorologists for Sunday

Meteorologists have issued a yellow storm alert valid until Sunday evening for 17 counties of the country. Significant precipitations are to be recorded quantitatively, but also the vinegar and hail, according to ANM.

The yellow storm code enters into force from 10.00 and is valid until tonight at 21.00.

Thus, in Transylvania, the south of Banat, northern Oltenia and Muntenia will be periods with accentuated atmospheric instability, which will manifest through torrential showers, electric discharges, wind intensifications, possibly vigils (bursts of 50 … 70 km/h) and isolated hail.

In short intervals or by accumulation, the quantities of water will be 20… 30 l/sqm and on restricted areas over 50 l/sqm.

Targeted by the yellow code are the counties of Alba, Argeş, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Braşov, Cluj, Caraş-Severin, Covasna, Dâmboviţa, Gorj, Hunedoara, Harghita, Mehedinţi, Mureş, Prahova, Sibiu, Sălaj and Vâlcea.
