F-16 disaster. The prosecutor's office initiates the investigation


-Today in the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw a formally investigation was initiated regarding the causal of a disaster in the air traffic resulting in the death of the person managing the plane-said Piotr Skiba, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, referring to the F-16 disaster in Radom.
– From yesterday intensive procedural activities were conducted to organize the initial phase of this preparatory procedure. After obtaining information about the event, prosecutors were directed to the area, among others Radom. Actions were also carried out at the base where the plane came from – he said.
As the spokesman informed, “14 prosecutors from Warsaw and Lublin were delegated to conduct an inspection at the base in Radom“.

A spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw Piotr Antoni Skiba also announced that a black plane box was found.
“The black box that has been found will be examined in an authorized laboratory. At this point, I am not convinced if Poland has such a laboratory. We take into account that Research will take place outside the country” – said the prosecutor.
When asked how much time the black box would take, he assessed that preliminary tests should be carried out “as soon as possible”. He noted, however, that for the final report from the disaster, which will be prepared by the State Aviation Aviation Accident Investigation Commission, we will have to wait. How many? “Certainly many months,” said the prosecutor.
The spokesperson informed that three issues are examined with air disasters: technical thread, and therefore whether the plane was functional; Human factor, i.e. issues related to health, predispositions and maneuvers performed by the pilot and the logistics-technical and service issue.
