The government will propose an amendment to the provisions including Freezing energy prices at IV Q4 and a heating voucher – said Energy Minister Miłosz Motyk at the conference, announcing the project in September. Two of the three components of the so -called The windmill act is to be implemented by non -status – the minister of climate and the community Paulina Hennig -Kloska announced.

“This price will not increase (for households – PAP), there will be PLN 500 per MWh (…). We offer a wide amendment: freezing energy prices for the fourth quarter and a heating voucher,” said the Minister of Energy.
He added that as part of a heating voucher, people who could be exposed to heat prices will be protected.
“We will propose two amendments in this sector (energy prices and renewable energy – PAP) and we hope that two will be signed by the President” – noted the Minister of Energy.
He informed that the first “fast” amendment, containing freezing energy prices and a heating voucher, would be proposed in September, and later a large law “reforming the whole system”.
“We intend to implement two of the three components of the windmill act,” said Hennig -Kloska at a joint press conference, indicating the implementation of changes by the regulations.
Among these components, she mentioned, among others The possibility of increasing by 30 percent. Windmill power on land by modifying the already functioning turbine (repowering).
“Acceleration and simplification of procedures (regarding the location of wind farms on land – PAP) – we are working on specific solutions that will allow you to significantly shorten the investment process” – added the head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
This is a reaction to vetoing the so -called windmill laws, including shortening the minimum distance of land windmills from buildings to 500 meters, by President Karol Nawrocki, which also contained a record on freezing energy prices for households in the last quarter of the year at the current level of PLN 500 per MWh.
On August 21, the Minister of Energy Miłosz Motyk announced that several hundred thousand people may be covered by support as part of a heating voucher, and for 1.5 years the introduction of the voucher will cost the state budget PLN 900 million.
The Ministry of Energy has prepared a project to support poorer heat recipients for the second half of 2025 and 2026, and help will be given to families with an equal or lower income PLN 2,454.52 per person and pay heat over PLN 170/GJ. (PAP Biznes)
