Several Moldovans have been threatened with the death of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, announces the representatives of the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), who denounces the attempt to shadow the events organized in the context of the holiday.

According to IGP employees, Moldovans threatened with death are journalists and civil servants.

“Our institution qualifies these actions, as announced yesterday, as an attempt to compromise the events organized by the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova and to intimidate the citizens”, IGP officials said.

At the same time, the police came with an exhortation to the Moldovan citizens, stressing that they are taking measures to identify the authors of these messages.

“We urge the population to ignore this kind of messages and to notify the police in case they have received such messages. The investigative highlights already have more information in this regard and take measures to identify and locate the persons involved.”concluded the people of the law.

Destabations from Șor's supporters

Previously, the IGP warned that, on the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, marked on August 27, destabilization is being prepared. The institution urged the citizens not to get involved in challenges organized by people representing the interests of Moscow, referring to the members of the criminal organization led by the fugitive ilan Șor oligarch.

The officials of the General Police Inspectorate made some interceptions public, and according to them, a man instructed the participants how to act.

“Boys, the plan is as follows: we meet tonight, between 16:30 and 16:40, in the center. We will divide into groups of ten people, in different corners, so that we do not attract attention. We go to the car, we each take a ball. Then we divide ourselves into groups of four to five people, in different places, not to be observed. according to interception.

On August 27, the Republic of Moldova celebrates 34 years since the proclamation of independence. In Chisinau, several events will be organized dedicated to this day, who started at 09:00 with the deposit of flowers by the leaders from Chisinau at the “Paid Mother” Monument, and then at the monument of the ruler Stephen the Great and Holy.

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz, and the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, will attend the celebration.
