The Siberian theater forum opened in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk in the theater named after A.S. Pushkin opened the Siberian theater forum, the press service of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation said.

The forum is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia. He was the first in a series of forums, the main purpose of which is to develop a concept for the development of the theater in the Russian Federation for the period until 2035.

The grand opening was performed by the chief federal inspector for the Krasnoyarsk Territory Sergey Blinov and the Minister of Culture of the Territory Arkady Zinov.

“This is a great honor that these 3 days will take place in our Krasnoyarsk, which will begin to determine the vector of the further development of theatrical art of our whole country. I hope that this forum will give an impetus for all figures of theatrical art of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, but that the Krasnoyarsk Territory will contribute to the development of theatrical art of Russia, ”said Arkady Zinov.

Chairman of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia Vladimir Mashkov. He gave a symbolic start to the project using a conditional scene mirror for this. According to Mashkov, “usually it reflects the anxieties and dreams of the viewer,” but this time it reflected the enthusiastic faces of the forum participants.

“This is our first forum to prepare the concept of theater development until 2035. Representatives of theaters and unions of theatrical figures of the Siberian regions gathered here. It is very important that people write this concept who know what theater is, love it, dream of it, prepare the next generation. The whole theater community, I hope, will connect to this big job, ”said Vladimir Mashkov.

About 150 representatives of theaters from the regions of Siberia came to the forum in Krasnoyarsk, including private and amateur, regional branches of the Union of Theater Workers, Ministry of Culture, Theater Library, etc.

Until August 29, participants during master classes and discussions will draw up specific offers. The result should be the concept of theater development supplemented by the theater community of Siberia and the roadmap for each of its section.

In 2025, similar forums will be held in Grozny and Ryazan, and in 2026 there will be another 7 discussions in other federal districts of Russia. At the final – All -Russian forum – in 2026 the most active participants in all stages will gather. Their task will summarize all the proposals and present in the form of a single concept of development.
