Cristi Chivu ceded Aslani to Turin
Cristi Chivu gave up the services of midfielder Kristijan Aslani, who was ceded in Turin, in the form of a loan by the end of this season, for 1.5 million euros.
Turin will have the option to permanently transfer Albanian next summer, for the amount of 12 million euros.
Raised in Empoli's Academy, for which he ticked a season in series A, in 2021-2022, when the Albanian ticked 23 appearances, succeeding a goal and a decisive pass.
In the summer of 2022, Aslani was borrowed at Inter, after the “Nerazzurrii” paid 4.5 million euros, and after checking 20 matches in Serie A, without any success, Inter purchase in 2023, for the amount of 10 million euros.
Meanwhile, the Albanian has checked 45 appearances for Inter two seasons, during which he scored 3 goals and offered 4 decisive passes.
I always watched the market carefully and had a few names in the viewfinder, but some clubs that hold the rights of the players chose not to sell them. This is happening to us, it is part of reality. We remained consistent with the club's policy, choosing young, valuable players, who are ready to evolve for Inter.
We have a consistent approach to the club strategy and I am satisfied with the lot we have. We follow a clear direction, focused on young players who value the team. We know that patience is needed with young players, but in the current context, their integration is easier. The club also plays an important role and has to work to help them develop.
