In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police returned the 56-year-old resident of Ilan, 156,000 rubles stolen from his expired bank card.

The victim said that in 2018 he changed his salary bank, but did not use the issued by the card. In 2023, after its expiration, he received a new one and used it. And he left the old one when moving from an emergency house, believing that she had lost her strength.
Law enforcement officers found that during the dismantling of the building, a 31-year-old worker found an envelope with a bank card and a PIN code inside and ventured to check her at the nearest ATM.
“The card was active – an impressive amount of money was displayed on the balance sheet. Provided by the find, the man tried to cash out the money. However, the security system worked: after the removal of about 150 thousand rubles, further operations were automatically suspended. After that, another attempt made it possible to additionally withdraw 15 thousand rubles, ”said the State Department of Internal Affairs.
The attacker was detained. The money he took off and the property bought on them was seized and transferred to the victim.
In relation to the suspect, a criminal case was opened under paragraph “G” of part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code (theft committed from a bank account). It is known that earlier he was repeatedly prosecuted.
