The thirteenth pensions have so far been granted nearly 7 million pensioners who, before Easter, and therefore at the latest on April 18 will receive benefits. Their total value exceeded PLN 13 billion gross – the Social Insurance Institution said.
An additional annual cash benefit is granted in the amount of the lowest pension, which from March 1, 2025 is PLN 1878.91 gross.
The thirteenth pensions are paid together with the basic benefit, within the date of its payment. So far, the thirteen have received people receiving basic benefits on April 1, 6 and 10. Subsequent payment dates fall on 15, 20 and 25 April. The last round of the thirteen will take place on May 1, along with the payment of pre -retirement benefits and benefits. ZUS informed that the granting and payment of the thirteenth pension is so far without interference and in accordance with the assumed schedule.
He emphasized that thirteen paid from 1 to 20 April were granted nearly 7 million pensioners. The value of benefits granted on these dates exceeded PLN 13 billion gross.
“The granting of 13 pensions to clients receiving retirement and disability benefits within the date of payment 25 (April-PAP) and pre-retirement benefits and benefits will be carried out on 11-13.04.2025.” – ZUS pointed out.
If the payment deadline falls on a day off from work, the funds are transferred earlier. People who receive basic benefits on April 20 this year will receive them at the latest on April 18 this year, i.e. before Easter. Thirteen before the deadline will also be given to the authorized ones who receive pre -retirement benefits and benefits. Additional money should reach them on May 1 this year. Due to the fact that it is a day off from work, the payment will be made at the latest on April 30 this year.
The thirteenth pension is granted to persons who as at March 31 this year. They had the right to pay one of the long -term benefits. These include: retirement (including a bridging pension, periodic capital pension and partial pension), a disability pension (including a pension for war and military invalids and an accident pension), training pension, social pension, survivors 'pension (including a survivors' pension after war or military invalid and a family pension), parental supplementary benefit, cash benefit for civilian blind victims, teacher compensation benefit as well as pre -retirement benefit and benefit.
One thirteenth pension is entitled to a survivor's pension, to which more than one person is entitled to, regardless of the number of persons authorized to this pension. The thirteenth pension is divided according to the number of persons entitled to a survivor's pension, determined in the amount of March 31 of a given year.
In the event of a convergence of the right to benefits (e.g. pensions from ZUS and KRUS or a pension paid together with an accident pension), only one additional annual cash benefit (one thirteen) is entitled to an authorized person.
If the benefits are paid by two different pension organs-ZUS will pay the thirteenth pension. There are no deductions or executions from the thirteenth pension, and it is not addicted to income. (PAP)
