The first large -scale festival of contemporary art “Pozdeev Fest” will be held in Krasnoyarsk. The event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Siberian artist Andrei Pozdeev is supported by the Polyus gold mining company, the Presidential Fund of Cultural Initiatives and the Ministry of Culture of the Territory.
The guests are waiting for a rich program that will unite lectures, creative master classes, theatrical performances and art fair, where it will be possible to purchase the work of local artists. For the youngest visitors, a separate “Magic Forest” zone with master classes, DJing lessons and giant coloring based on the artist’s paintings will work.
One of the key events of the festival will be the presentation of 10 new art objects created according to the sketches of young Siberian artists-the winners of the Pozdeev flowers contest.
The day will end with a large concert on the main stage. For the Krasnoyarsk, local groups “Your Far” and “My Dad Pianist” will perform, and the famous Russian rap artist Antokha MS will become the headliner.
The festival will be held this Saturday, August 23, in the Bolshoi Polyana Tatyshev-park. The sites will work from 12:00 to 23:00. Free admission.
