The head of the press service of the police of the Krasnoyarsk Territory received a reward for a fantastic story

The head of the information and public relations department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region, Vladimir Yurchenko, became the winner of the prestigious literary contest “New Fantastic-2025”, the press service of the department said.
The competition was held by the literary community “Real Writer” and the Club “Paper Elephant”. The participants were 611 writers from the regions of the Russian Federation and abroad. The main jury was headed by the famous Russian science fiction writer Vasily Golovachev.
The solemn awarding took place in Moscow, where the works that became the winners of the competition were announced. Among them are the story of the Krasnoyarsk Vladimir Yurchenko “Damned Earth”.
The story of the colonel of the internal service was noted as the rare combination of the horror associated with the extinct Megafauna, and modern fantasy based on Yakut mythology.
“The excellent dramaturgy of episodes and the tempo have become the hallmark of the work that allows you to read it in one breath,” readers shared their opinion.
