The meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin takes place on Friday, August 15, at 11:00 (22:00 Romanian time), in Anchorage, Alaska, the White House announced, in a statement quoted by Reuters.

Previously, the Kremlin had announced that the summit starts at 11:30 local time (22:30, Romania time).

According to the program announced by the White House, Trump will leave the White House on Friday at 6:45 am (1:45 pm Romania time) and leave Anchorage at 5:45 pm, time in Alaska (Saturday 4:45, Romania time) on the same day. Trump is about to return to the White House on Saturday morning.

A day ago, on Thursday, Iuri Usakov, Kremlin counselor, announced that the two leaders will meet at 11.30 (22.30 Romanian time), first between four eyes, accompanied by translators only.

He added that the delegations of the two countries will meet afterwards, and the presidents will hold a common press conference.
