He said that this track was one of the last capital sports facilities built in the city. She became a favorite place for walking towns and the venue of dozens of winter and summer sports competitions.
But the paths on the highway had long required repairs. Last year, the townspeople announced a fee for the installation of lighting at the base, at the beginning of 2025 the City Hall of Zheleznogorsk reported on the completion of the first stage of the implementation of this project.
“I spoke about the danger of the collapse and the critical washing of the bridge through the Baikal stream a few years ago, and now the inevitable happened: the bridge is completely destroyed. Now the project to restore lighting on the highway can hardly be implemented without reconstruction of the bridge and restore asphalt coating“, – The deputy said.
