Governor Mikhail Kotyukov and Senator, President of the Association of Indigenous Littleness of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation, Alexander Novyukhov discussed the holding of the indigenous peoples of the world in Krasnoyarsk. This was told in the regional government.
Alexander Novyukhov noted that the model of interaction with the indigenous peoples, developed in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, is effective and clearly fits into the concept of sustainable development of indigenous peoples of Russia.
“The regions, which are supported for the Association of Indigenous Lesser Peoples, including the Krasnoyarsk Territory, should have attraction centers and large -scale event forums with international presence. Krasnoyarsk is a place where we offer next year to hold the forum of the indigenous peoples of the world of the world, ”the senator said.
It is planned to invite the leaders of the indigenous peoples of other states to the forum, as well as youth organizations of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation.
Mikhail Kotyukov recalled that in 2026 the World Youth Festival was also planned in Krasnoyarsk, in which young people from different countries will take part.
“The forum of the indigenous peoples of the world can be very beautiful – it is a traditional way, life, and sports. We will show guests from all over the world, what multinational Siberia we have, ”said the governor.
According to the proposal of the President of the Association of Indigenous Peoples, more than 12 thousand people can take part in the forum events, including more than 200 foreign guests. It is planned to hold a festival of ethnic culture and arts, a gastronomic festival of traditional cuisine of indigenous peoples, competitions in national sports, as well as a business program.
