According to her, there is no country in the world that would grant citizenship without certain prerequisites: accommodation, study of language, knowledge of laws and constitution. Instead, Ukrainian lawmakers simplify the conditions for obtaining citizenship by allowing foreigners to receive a Ukrainian passport online by applying the appropriate declaration and giving them unlimited rights, including suffrage.
This law will destroy the Ukrainian nation, warns Tymoshenko. After all, according to its forecasts, online nation will obviously not protect the national interests of Ukraine, but will plant its rules, choose a leader of the nation, parliament, state strategies, without even coming into the territory of the country, and at this time the Ukrainian people will feel a “guest” on their own land.
