Trump negotiates trade systems. Allies have a priority

As a spokeswoman said during Tuesday's press briefing, Trump ordered his advisers to “share” and negotiate with each country separately. She noted that the priority will cover American allies and partners such as South Korea and Japan.
“It will be tailor -made systems, not from the shelf” – she pointed out.
Leaders of other countries “still call” to the USA
Leavitt has yet confirmed that Trump does not intend to suspend the introduction of high duties on US partners during negotiations. This also applies to an additional 50 % duties on goods from China, which will increase the basic import rate from the PRC to 104 percent.
The spokeswoman pointed out, however, that Trump is convinced that China wants to go to the arrangement, they have to do it, but “they don't know how to start.” She also said that the president is willing to be “very kind” to Beijing if the first asked for negotiations.
Leavitt announced that the leaders of other countries are constantly calling the White House and are ready to come immediately to negotiate, which, according to her, shows that Trump intends to use its full influence and tender cards. She estimated that as part of the talks, non -harndl topics, such as foreign assistance provided by the US, could be discussed as part of the talks.
The spokeswoman pointed out that despite the earlier message of Trump's advisers, the fact that the president will not withdraw from his duties, focusing on commercial negotiations does not mean “return in the course of” administration policy.
Leavitt comments on Musk's words about Navarro
She also referred to a public dispute between Trump's advisers, billionaire Elon Musk and trade advisor Peter Navarro. Musk described Navarro supporting duties “moron” and “stupid than a bag of bricks”.
Leavitt stated that the president would allow his subordinates to further abrasion. “Boys will be boys,” she said.
