An armed man opened the fire on Monday inside a skyscraper in the center of Manhattan, in New York, who hosts the NFL headquarters and the offices of several financial companies, killing four people. The attacker committed suicide, New York metropolis have announced, Reuters reports.
One of the four victims is an officer of the 36 -year -old police department, who has been working in the police for about three and a half years. The other three people killed by the suspect were civilians.
New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said the armed man, who lived in Las Vegas and crossed the country in recent days, shot dead at the end of the armed attack. Police officers believe that the man acted alone, and investigators have not yet established a possible reason for the armed attack.
