Investigation Several students or close women have agreed to testify, with names and details, about the sexual abuses of the sociologist and teacher SSPA Marius Pieleanu. “I was shaking. I was shocked and scared” / “excluded. There is no rape comprehension to me”

Sociologist Marius Pieleanu, frequently invited to TV as a homemaker's owner and teacher's owner, is accused of sexual abuses of former students or women who have entered his office, writes the SNOOOOOP investigation website, which publishes the discussions that journalists have documented on Monday days. Four women agreed to tell, with first names and names, what they lived.

The investigation site Snoop He discussed, for several months, with 40 people: teachers, current and former students from SNSPA and the University of Bucharest, the past collaborators of Marius Pieleanu's companies.

This is after the works of the SNSPA ethics committee, opened last year after the testimonies in the press and online about Marius Pieleanu, were marked by restricted access to the file, pressures and a resignation.

At SNSPA the atmosphere is a loaded one. The brother -in -law of the sociologist, Florentin Dichiu, manages the SNSPA building since 2014, where he “has access to the cameras”, said the Snoop sources. Which creates a state of tension among teachers, who feel supervised, according to their testimonies.

Dichiu is the founder of the Institute of Probing Public Occover, the most well -known and influential among Pieleanu's companies.

Sociologist threatened snoop with trials

Of the women who accuse Marius Pieleanu of abuse or inappropriate behavior and who discussed with the journalist Snoop Ioana Moldovan, four assumed with first name and name, two wanted to give only the first name, and three opted for pseudonym. Their last name is marked with * in the article.

Three women, including a former SNSPA student, tell how the sociologist seized them in his office for several hours, in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Test of rape, rape, threat to rape, they say. The sociologist categorically denies the accusations. He threatened the publication that he would sue, when asked questions.

“You see here nobody hears you”

Monica*: “If you do not sleep with me, do not leave here.”

Alexandra: “You see here no one hears you.”

Andrée: “Didn't you understand that tonight I will f **?”

There are the testimonies of three women who tell how Marius Pieleanu seized them in his office for several hours, in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Andreea tells how she threatened to “f ***” in her office at SNSPA. Alexandra says she tried to rape her, and Monica* confesses that she succeeded, in the basement of the Ilioara School of Driving, in Bucharest, where Pieleanu had an office with the windows, as president of the National School of Detectives and Private Security, opened in 1998.

All three young people first entered Pieleanu's office.

Who are the three women

  • Alexandra28 years old, a psychiatrist, just what he had met in the city, through some friends, and he offered to drive her home, after they were on a terrace. On the way, they stopped in Ilioara, “to leave some documents,” she says.
  • Monica*22 years old, was a student at the detective school, At the father's recommendation, who had seen an announcement in the press. On a day when she was missing from the classes, Pieleanu called her home and called “to talk”, she remembers.
  • Andreea, 19 years old, she was a first year student in communication, at SNSPA. After the evening courses, Pieleanu called her a job. “He was looking for a kind of nurse,” she says. She felt flattered.

No danger was suspected. “This is the key element,” says Alexandra.

“He likes to put the victims in this position,” “to dominate you.” She thought she was “an intellectual”, “spoke well.” “I didn't expect it.” “It's not like taking him by hand, I would have watched it, I kissed him.” “He did not court me (…), that maybe I would not have entered” in the office of Ilioara, she explains.

“He started making advances to me: how beautiful you are, what beautiful legs you have”

With Monica* talked about teachers and subjects. He offered to help her with possible arrears at the other college where she learned, says the former student. Then “he started making advances to me: how beautiful you are, what beautiful legs you have,” he remembers. On the table in the office at the detective school was a bottle of whiskey, from which Pieleanu drank during the evening, she says.

Andrea He offered him a beer in his office at SNSPA. Has accepted. “It was very charming,” he says, he had “a form of address and discussion that you did not meet very often at that age.” The job involved accompanying “outside visitors” at accommodation and restaurant: “The salary was spectacular: somewhere at $ 300,” says the former student.

Pieleanu: “excluded”

Then, the discussions degenerated: the job supposed “to leave the city, including it and we can sleep in the same room” by the hotel. “The guests will want to have fun in the evening and you will have to take them to women (…) where I explain,” she says she told her Pieleanu.

“Excluded”, the teacher replies in the discussion with Snoop, to have offered jobs that involved the shower at the brothels.

The testimonies of the former employees of the 2000s, but also his involvement as a witness in two pimping files, between 2010-2012, shows that the teacher frequented such locations.

He witnessed the file “Prostitutes for VIPs”, but the visit of the Bessarabian Efim Podval, according to the indictment published by Freedom.

It's “a private matter,” said Pieleanu last year. “It is not a discussion on university ethics,” says the president of the SNSPA Ethics Commission, Ion Stavre, asked by Snoop if it seems worthwhile for a university framework.

But the involvement in a file of pimping affects the image of the university, warns Marian Popescu, the founder of the Center for Academic Integrity of the University of Bucharest. The public expects a teacher to have “a behavior that brings the moral values” to the fore.

“I told him to leave me alone. I was shaking. I was shocked and scared.”

Then, in the discussions, says the woman, Pieleanu “returned to 180 degrees”: “You can not leave here,” says Alexandra that the sociologist told him. She negotiated, “I did the left-right”, “not to get to penetrate me.” It was “more the fear of being beaten, but also of being raped,” she says.

“I saw that the door closes,” recalls Monica*. Pieleanu stretched the couch in his office; She asked her to undress and she burst when she agreed, she says. He reproached him for “walking his nose up,” he remembers. “I told him to leave me alone. I was trembling. I was shocked and scared. I didn't know what to do. (…) I couldn't scream, that no one was undressed, because I felt threatened,” Monica says.

“He locked the door with the key (…) and he told me” Stay down “, says Andrée. Then he took the phone, complete. He didn't touch her, but he constantly threatened her to do it, she tells. Andreea also threatened with the police, with trials, negotiated how to go: “Why look like a rape?” Confessed to him that he is a virgin. He cried “desperate”. Then, “I had no reactions. I was waiting for it.”

These are typical responses to a situation of abuse, explains psychologist Bogdan Morar:

“Initially, a person can try to resist or escape. If these options are perceived as impossible, the psychic automatically chooses what seems to be the safest variant to survive.” The specialist emphasizes that “submission does not mean consent”.

Pieleanu has remained unwavering, they tell. “” Don't scream, because there is no one here, “says Alexandra that Pieleanu answered her attempts to leave.

Monica* “She paralyzed. And (he) began to kiss her, to pull her clothes on her. She was a real rape,” says her childhood friend, who was confession to her a few months after the trauma.

Pieleanu's reaction: “There is no rape complaint to my address”

Contacted by Snoop, Pieleanu believes that “no rape”, but “a misunderstanding”. “With a statement has resolved the same day,” he says. Asked several times what the misunderstanding was, he says he feels “harassed”, he is “tired”, “you woke me” from sleep. “There is no (…) any kind of rape comprehension to me. (…) It is a misunderstanding you have towards me,” he says.

“What chances will you have in front of the police”

Andrée He claims that Pieleanu told him:

“What chances will you have in front of the police (…) What could an honest student want from me at 9 o'clock? (…) The goalkeeper from SNSPA is my friend. (…) All policemen from Section Seven (…) are my friends.

Then He hicked: “Come on, I was joking. Did you really think I would do that?” She remembers. The reaction “dilutes the abuser's responsibility, minimizes the abuse, amplifies the shame. The victim feels responsible for how he interpreted the situation,” explains the psychologist.

When he unlocked the door, “I woke up from a nightmare,” says Andreea. Pieleanu denies that a student would have closed in his office: “It's a slander.”

All three women say they left his desk after a minimum of two hours.

Alexandra Alone, “humiliated and scared” and “following his failed attempts to rape,” he says. “For me it was not a trauma, because I escaped,” she says. He did not file a complaint, he thought he had gone there. He speaks now “for the girls who may have suffered more.”

On Andreea and Monica*Pieleanu left them by car in the city. The last one says he addressed him with “my princess”, at the breakup.

Both of them believed a long time that was their fault

Andrée He told his brother over a few years, and he feels angry every time he sees the teacher on TV, confesses for Snoop. His sister sought to be related to Snoop last year: “I felt it is my duty as a woman to say to someone,” she explains.

Arrived home, Monica* She confessed to her friend what she went through; He blamed her, hit her and left her. And the parents blamed her-and sent her to the police.

Pieleanu was face to face with the victim, at the police

From there, he went to the Institute of Legal Medicine, for gynecological examination. Returned to the section without any document or conclusion. “I was young, I didn't even know” what should happen, “she says.

The next day, the police put them face to face, says Monica*. Pieleanu would have claimed to have a relationship, he remembers, although she says they had first seen themselves, and he was married.

He felt a lot of pressure, “they all said that his wife is up and that I had no chance.” So Monica* withdrew her complaint. Even Section 13 did not identify any, at its request from May this year. What happened next, in the investigation of the non-profit site Snoop.
