At the Krasnoyarsk airport, customs officers stopped the illegal export of three state awards to China.
It is reported that on the “green” corridor, inspectors stopped a 33-year-old tourist for selective control. In his baggage, among personal belongings, the anniversary medals “40 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War” were found, “For valiant work. In marriage to the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin ”and“ Veteran of the Armed Forces of the USSR ”.
The man explained that a friend was presented to him, and he did not know about the need for their declaration.
“The examination confirmed that the awards are genuine, and one of them is a cultural value. Their removal requires permits and filling out the passenger customs declaration, ”the press service of the Krasnoyarsk Customs said.
In relation to the man, they initiated cases of administrative offenses under Part 1 of Art. 16.2 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (Nonklaring of goods) and Art. 16.3 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (non -compliance with prohibitions and restrictions) that provide for penalties. Medals were seized before a court decision.
