Germans want to get rid of Afghans. They are ready to talk to the Taliban in Kabul

According to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), 11,423 Afghanistan citizens were to be left by Germany until May 31, as reported by editories Most of them – 9602 people – have so -called Tolerated stay, temporary suspension of deportation. Another 1821 people live in Germany even without this status. Bamf spokesman was unable to determine the number of criminals or people who pose a threat among them.
In the debate on repatriation, the interior minister Alexander Dobrindt spoke. Presented an explosive proposal: Direct negotiations with the Taliban. In an interview with the Focus magazine, Dobrindt said: – I mean that we should conclude direct contracts with Afghanistan to enable repatriation.
Until now, contacts with the Taliban have been held only via third partieswhich was unacceptable to Dobrindt. This request caused strong political reactions. SPD and Greens have criticized this move. They definitely reject cooperation with the radical Islamic Taliban regime, which has been governing Afghanistan since the withdrawal of Western troops in 2021.
Government radical Islamic Taliban is largely ostracismand official negotiations with them are still unusual. Since the coming to power in 2021, there was no more deportation from Germany to Afghanistan – with one exception: 28 criminals were transported to Kabul in August last year with the help of a runny nose.
