The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski reported on Friday that in a massive Russian attack on Kiev the building of the Consular Department of the Polish embassy suffered. He added that everyone is all and healthy. The minister emphasized that Ukraine urgently needs anti -aircraft defense.

At least 23 people were injured as a result of massive Russian air attacks on Kiev last night – the local authorities said. It was also damaged, among others Railway infrastructure and residential buildings.

Sikorski announced on Friday morning that in a “massive, Rasic attack on Kiev, the building of the consular department of our embassy was suffered.”

“I just talked to the ambassador (Piotr) Łukasiewicz. Everyone is all and healthy” – wrote on the platform X the head of Polish diplomacy.

He emphasized that Ukraine urgently needs anti -aircraft defense means.

Ukrainian army: The largest attack since 2022

Last night, Russia carried out the largest air attack since the beginning of the war on Ukraine – the Ukrainian Air Force informed on Friday. The Kremlin once again demonstrates that he does not intend to end war and terror – emphasized the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelnski.

“The enemy attacked a large number of drones (…) This is the largest number that the enemy has ever used in one attack,” said the head of the Air Force press service Colonel Jurij Ihnat on television.

Russia once again shows that it does not intend to end war and terror. The air alarm in Kiev was only canceled around 9 o'clock.”

The president emphasized that the capital was the main goal of the Russian attack, and the circuits: Dnipropietrowski, Sumski, Kharkiv, Czernihowski and Kiev also suffered in it. “23 people have been reported so far. All of them are given to help. In many places, fragments of drones and missiles have fallen. Unfortunately, there are also direct hits,” he noted.

“Exception drones began to work – dozens of goals have been shot down. We do everything to develop this direction of defense of our cities. It is also very important to maintain the support of partners in protecting against ballistic missiles. Patriot systems and rockets for them are real defenders of life, “emphasized Zelanski.

He also noted that in response to every such attack on people and Russia's life should feel the impact of relevant sanctions and other actions on its economy, sources of income and infrastructure. This is the only way to quickly improve the situation, and it all depends on the partners of Ukraine, primarily on the United States – he added.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that at night from Thursday to FridayOsian troops attacked Ukraine with 550 drones and rockets; Anti -aircraft defense shot down a total of 478 of them.
