I am asking you not to be passive observers of history, be its participants, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appealed on Monday to the participants of the 4th parliamentary summit of the Crimean Platform, which this time met in the Swedish parliament, the Riksdag.

In a speech via video link Zelensky emphasized that it is very important to support Ukraine now. – It is important to support the negotiation process and I am grateful for every advice and information we receive from European leaders, said the Ukrainian leader.

The fourth parliamentary summit of the Crimean Platform, an international forum devoted to the issue of Russia's annexation of the Crimean Peninsula in 2014, takes place in the Riksdag on Monday. The hosts are the Speaker of the Swedish Parliament of the Riksdag, Andreas Norlen, and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefaniuk. The program includes, among others: press conference of Norlen and Stefaniuk, as well as adoption of the joint final document.
