The fire in Crete got out of control. Polish tourists evacuated

Houses were burning in the town of Ferma, located near Jerrapets, and their inhabitants were evacuated.

According to media reports, the strong wind contributes to the rapid spread of fire. Emergency services emphasize that weather conditions significantly hinder the mastery of the fire.

Over one hundred firefighters were sent to the firefighting operation who use helicopter support. Meals from Athens are downloaded. The authorities call for special caution and follow the instructions of emergency services.
