The Supreme Court, in the composition of the entire Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs, found the validity of the election of Karol Nawrocki as the President of the Republic of Poland, made on June 1 this year – says the resolution of the Supreme Court adopted on Tuesday evening, read by the president of this chamber Krzysztof Wiak.

President Wiak pointed out in the justification that a large number of electoral protests listed did not increase the importance of the allegations raised in them, and none of the established deficiencies had an impact on the overall election result. Three separate sentences were reported to the resolution.

In the second round of presidential elections, supported by PiS Karol Nawrocki, winning 50.89 percent. votes, defeated Ko Rafał Trzaskowski's candidate, who obtained 49.11 percent.

The adoption of a resolution was preceded by a break after a half -hour dealing with the issue of elections of May 18 and June 1. Sylwester Marciniak, prosecutor general Adam Bodnar and his deputy, prosecutor Jacek Bilewicz, expressed their positions present at the meeting.

Before the meeting, Bodnar requested that the issue of election validity was dealt with by the Supreme Court and Supreme Court.
