Employees of the Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor told why the child needs sunglasses and what to pay attention to when buying them.

It is noted that children's eyes must protect against ultraviolet radiation, since its prolonged intensive effects can adversely affect the retina and visual acuity.

“The first glasses are recommended to buy a child from three years old – at this age, it is easier for children to explain how to use them. For mobile childhood, the best option is plastic glasses, since it is more difficult to break them. The frame should not leave traces on the face, but should not be too free so that the glasses do not fall, ”the Rospotrebnadzor explained.

Sunny glasses need to be purchased in specialized departments and stores, having previously familiarized yourself with quality documents. And scratched or cracked lenses must be replaced in a timely manner.
