In Pakistan, a suicide bomber crashed into a military convoy in a mined car. More than 10 people died


According to them, at least 16 Pakistani military were killed.




Reuters, citing the army of Pakistan, reported that at least 13 military had died. It is noted that three civilians were injured – two children and a woman.

According to The Times of India, 16 people were killed. According to eyewitnesses, the explosion was so powerful that the transport turned over and partially burned down.

The publication claims that the responsibility for the terrorist attack was taken by the grouping of the field commander Hafiz Guli Bahadur, which is part of the Pakistani Taliban.

Context

The Taliban movement was created in 1994, in 1996-2001 it was in power in Afghanistan, and controlled most of the country. After the attacks on September 11, 2001 in the United States and the Taliban refusal to give the leader of Al-Qaeda terrorist group, US troops were introduced to Afghanistan. The Taliban government was overthrown.

In 2021, after the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, the Taliban again seized power in the country.
