In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a criminal case was opened on the fact of the death of the baby as a result of drowning.
The Investigative Department of the IC of the Russian Federation said that the message about the incident was received on the eve of about 20:30. According to preliminary data, a resident of a private house in SNT “Filled meadows “ Minusinsky district bathed in the bath two children-a 2-year-old son and a 9-month-old daughter.
At some point, the woman went out into the kitchen, where she washed the dishes, and left the children unattended. Music played in the kitchen.
“Hearing after some time the cry of the older child, the woman returned to the bathroom and saw that the 9-month-old daughter was completely in the water and did not show signs of life. The woman tried to conduct resuscitation measures and called an ambulance, but it was not possible to save the child“– said in the press service.
On this fact, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code (causing death by negligence). In the criminal case, investigative actions are carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
