Putin admitted that military spending brought the Russian Federation to inflation

Putin admitted that military spending is a problem for the country's budget, but claims that it is solved “dignity”.

He said that 13.5 trillion rubles out of 223 trillion of Russia's GDP are spent on military costs, which is 6.3% of GDP.

At the same time, he stated that Russia spends funds on its defense industry, while Europe is supposedly on the American one.

Putin added that Russia plans to reduce defense expenses and that all departments “think in this direction.” At the same time, at the moment, there are no agreements between the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Development of the country.

Russia wants to end the war in Ukraine “with the country's desired country”, and defense expenses are aimed at this, and not at aggression regarding Europe, says Putin.
