Experts of Rospotrebnadzor reminded the Krasnoyarsk residents of how to protect against hepatitis B. This is an infectious disease that affects the liver. Usually proceeds in an acute or chronic form.
The causative agent of the disease is a hepatitis virus. It is very contrast and stable. For example, hepatitis B virus can remain viable in blood drugs for years, as well as remain dangerous for a week on environmental objects at room temperature.
However, the hepatitis B virus can be killed by household chemicals or disinfectants. It also ceases to be active when boiling for 30 minutes.
To protect yourself from hepatitis B, you need:
- vaccinated;
- observe precautions in personal life;
- make manicure, pedicure, tattoo, piercing, cosmetological procedures in proven places;
- avoid the use of any strangers stitching, cutting objects, medical, manicure instruments and personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, razor machines);
- Regularly undergo a hepatitis B examination for timely detection of infection.
