Israeli attacks on Iran begin to resemble attacks against the Gaza and Lebanon strip, says a university lecturer, which teaches the modern history of the Middle East at the University of St. Andrews.
Thus, Israel has passed from the attack of nuclear and military facilities located in areas less populated in bombing targets in the middle of residential areas, explained Dr. Siavush Randjar-Daemi, for Sky News.
IDF (the Israeli army) asked a number of 300,000 people to evacuate Tehran, before attacking the state television studios in the afternoon of Monday.
“Obviously, given that targets are hit near residential areas, in full day and during the work schedule, there will be victims,” said Randjbar-Daemi, for the news presenter Yalda Hakim.
The city has no anti -aircraft shelters, he added.

“The Israeli methods, which have begun to resemble those in Gaza and Beirut, will continue to produce victims among civilians in the future,” added the university professor.
He said: “Many people realize that this is certainly not the path to political change in Iran,” referring to the removal of the regime that currently leads the Islamic Republic.
