A 40 -year -old man from Vâlcea County was detained on Thursday by DIICOT prosecutors, being accused of drug trafficking. His home, searched by investigators, was full of cannabis plants, 44 pots being detected, reports News.ro.
“The police officers of the Organized Crime Fighting Service Vâlcea, together with the prosecutors of the Directorate for Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism Offenses – the Vâlcea Territorial Office, documented the criminal activity of a 40 -year person, investigated for committing the crime of drug trafficking. His home in Copăceni commune, Vâlcea county, a cannabis culture, intended for marketing ”, said IGPR and DIICOT.
Investigators descended on Thursday in the man's house and discovered 44 cannabis plants (in pots) in different stages of development, with the dimensions at the stem between 60 – 140 cm, various components of a culture maintenance installation, fertilizers, a grinder, as well as other means of proof.
The man was detained and the judge of rights and freedoms of the Vâlcea Court is to be notified with a proposal for its preventive arrest, for 30 days.
