US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the USA is close to a “quite good” agreement on the Iranian nuclear program and that he wants to avoid conflict. He noted, however, that he could not allow Iran to have an atomic weapon and the risk of “powerful conflict” exists.

Trump referred to the growing tensions and possible Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear installations during the signing ceremony of the resolution resolution to enduring the California recipes withdrawing combustion cars. The president declared that he would like to avoid conflict with Iran, but this requires concessions from Tehran.
“I would like to avoid conflict, but Iran will have to negotiate a bit more strongly, which means that he will have to give us something that he is not willing to give us now,” he said.
When asked about Israeli attack plans, Trump said that he did not want this to happen until he thinks that there is a chance to agree with Tehran.
“I don't want them to go there because I think it would bury (chances of agreement). It could also help, but it could also bury it” – he analyzed. “I want to agree with Iran. We are quite close to the agreement. We are quite close to a pretty good agreement. But it must be better than quite good,” he continued. He also announced that he would not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons and that this is the only thing he wants from Tehran, offering help and trade agreements in return.
Trump admitted, however, that there is still a risk of a “powerful conflict”, and that is why he decided to evacuate the Middle East diplomats and their families.
On Sunday, the sixth round of American-Iranian talks about the nuclear agreement is to take place. At the same time, there is no indication that a breakthrough should occur in these negotiations. The main axis of disagreement was Washington's demands so that Iran would eliminate his uranium enrichment program, which the regime in Tehran consistently refused.
Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency (Maea) formally found on Thursday that for the first time in 20 years Iran did not fulfill its obligations in the nuclear sphere. Iran announced that he intends to open a new uranium enrichment plant.
According to American media, Israel has informed the US in recent days that it is “fully ready” to hit Iranian installations.
