The last season of Cristina Neagu's career ended with three trophies conquered by CSM Bucharest: The national title, the Romanian Cup and the Romanian Super Cup. Also, the “Tigroaicele” were close to the final qualification 4 Champions League.

In order to mark the withdrawal from handball, Neagu will organize on June 8 a gala with numerous brand personalities from this sport. So far, have confirmed participation Cristina Vărzaru, Isabelle Gullden, Valentina Ardean Elisei, Linnea Torstenson, Aurelia Brădeanu, Dragan Adzic, Andrea Lekic, Crina Pintea, Denisa Șandru, Ada Nechita, Adina Meiroșu and Carmen Martin.

On Tuesday, May 27, the former handball player announced four more personalities who will be present in Bucharest on June 8. This is Eliza Buceschi, Djurdjina Jaukovic, Oana Manea and Maria Covaci.

• Eliza Buceschi – It has a well -deserved place in the Romanian handball. He won the National Championship twice, three times the Romanian Cup, took bronze with the national team at the 2015 World Championship and was designated the best young player in the Champions League in 2015.

• Djurdjina Jaukovic – a strong, intelligent and determined player. He won the championship in Montenegro four times, in France and Romania once, and in 2022 it was the second scorer of the European Championship, a tour in which Montenegro obtained the bronze medal.

• Oana Lefter (Manea) – a legend of Romanian handball. 193 national matches, 433 goals scored under the tricolor, Champions League won with CSM Bucharest in 2016, world and European bronze. But beyond all the trophies, Oana is a man with a huge character, which I was happy to have almost every time.
