The first vice-president of PSD Daniel Băluţă, mayor of Sector 4, told Antena 3 on Saturday, that the PSD must enter the government, showing that it is a very difficult time for Romania and is convinced that the presence of the PSD in the Government will do nothing more than the measures to be taken to be more easily supported by people.

“My own opinion is that the PSD must enter the government precisely for this reason, it is a very difficult time for Romania and I am convinced that our presence within a government will do nothing more than the measures to be taken to be more easily supported by people. This is what I believe,” said PSD first vice-president.

“A decision that puts Romania's interests in the fore” “

Băluţă said that “in no case can we talk about a sacrifice government.” The first vice-president of the PSD has shown that it is important for the PSD to see the vision that the President has about the new government.

“Obviously, following the discussions we will have with our colleagues, we will make a decision and I am convinced that that decision will be the best decision, a decision that will put in the foreground Romania and in the second plane the interests of the Social Democratic Party,” he said.

Daniel Băluţă was also asked about the prime minister. “I have no way to say about this, because we do not know if the President of Romania will propose Mr. Bolojan, we do not know if the President of Romania will propose the PSD to create a government around a PSD prime minister.

Băluţă gave assurances that there are no camps in the PSD, showing that “there are currents, dialogue and there are decisions that I make, in accordance with the needs that the country has.”

Grindeanu is waiting for discussions with President Dan

The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, said on Thursday that the PSD has nothing to negotiate about the formation of the new government, claiming that he “claims absolutely nothing”.

“In order to negotiate something, you have to claim something. At this moment, the PSD does not claim absolutely anything. The PSD will go to discuss, when we are asked, about projects, about programs, about things that are addressed to people. We have nothing to negotiate, because we do not claim anything. But I appreciate the position of President Nicuşor Dan,” A visit to the A7 highway site, quoted by News.ro.

Grindeanu also said that the PSD is the winner of the parliamentary elections, and the party has always offered “expertise for the good of the country”.

“The PSD, along with other colleagues, has been in a three-year government coalition and something. The PSD is the party that was, throughout history, all the present time, when it was necessary to give its expertise for the good of the country. And there are enough moments, or there have been enough moments in Romania's recent history. Those we governed, PNL and UDMR, have to be in a position other than others to take us now, ”Grindeanu stressed.
