Former President Traian Basescu criticized Monday afternoon, in a message published on his Facebook page, which he called “a bizarre institution-coalition”, in an obvious reference to the two recent governments, stating that this “coalition” was “populated by all kinds of listings with functions in the parties” and “and” irresponsibility ”.
“I want to believe that the president will not allow the functioning of institutional ghosts to replace the Government of Romania,” added the former head of state, in the online post.
In fact, he catalogs the “coalition” as “a ghost of supreme political evil.”
What Traian Basescu says:
- “A bizarre institution, “coalition” (underlining the author, no).
- This “coalition”, populated by all kinds of listings with functions in parties, made catastrophic decisions that Ciucă and Ciolacu governments have executed with full irresponsibility.
- As much as you seek in the Constitution of Romania you will not find an institution of the Romanian state to be called “coalition” and which is the one that coordinates the decisions of the Government of Romania.
- In contrast, from art. 102 at art. 115 The Constitution speaks of the Government of Romania and its duties.
- I want to believe that the president will not allow the functioning of institutional ghosts to () substitute the Government of Romania.
- The parties must understand that the government once voted by the Parliament becomes an independent party institution, with ministers who are subordinated to the prime minister and not to the parties and who work in national interest and not in the interest of the party.
- The “coalition” was a ghost of the supreme political evil.“
