Volodimir Zelenski, message in Romanian for Nicușor Dan: “Congratulations on the historical victory in the presidential elections in Romania”

Volodimir Zelenski posted a message in Romanian on X, shortly after Nicușor Dan won the presidential elections. “Dear Romanian, you can count on Ukraine as a good neighbor and partner. We can overcome any challenge if we are united and strong,” Volodimir Zelenski said.
The Ukrainian president qualified as a historical victory of Nicușor Dan and stressed that for Ukraine it is important for Romania to remain a partner.
“Congratulations Nicușor Dan for historical victory in the presidential elections in Romania. For Ukraine – as a neighbor and friend – it is important to have Romania as a trusted partner. We are confident that it will be. Through collaboration, we can strengthen both countries and our Europe,” wrote the Ukrainian president on X.

He remembered the support given by Romania during the war and sent a direct message to the Romanian people.
“We will always have a great respect for Romania and the Romanian people, especially given the support we received in the most difficult period in our history. Dear Romanian, you can count on Ukraine as a good neighbor and partner. We can overcome any challenge if we are united and powerful.
Nicușor Dan became the new president of Romania, according to the official count, data transmitted on the website of the Permanent Electoral Authority.
