A woman can plan a pregnancy 4-6 months after plastic surgery. Such terms were designated by a plastic surgeon Tigran Aleksanyan.
“Modern aesthetic surgery strives to reduce the rehabilitation period using innovative methods and materials. It must be remembered that each operation is purely individual. Thus, the recovery rate depends on the type of operation and individual characteristics, ”the Saratov 24 television channel quotes the doctor with reference to News.ru.
Tigran Aleksanyan noted that it is better for women to consult with a plastic surgeon before pregnancy planning. The doctor will help to correctly assess the condition of the body after surgery – whether the tissues have healed and whether there are inflammatory processes. In addition, the doctor clarified that an unplanned pregnancy even a month after the procedure is not a reason to panic. As a rule, this did not lead to serious complications even after complex operations, such as mammoplasty or abdominoplasty.
