Rosneft held a large -scale career guidance event for students of the Institute of Oil and Gaza of the Siberian Federal University.
About a thousand students and teachers of the university took part in the “Day of Rosneft”. Employees of the company operating in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Bashkiria, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra and the Irkutsk region spoke about the possibilities of employment.
Oil jackets organized lectures, master classes, contests and quiz for students on various aspects of the oil and gas industry. Students learned about the achievements and prospects of the development of Rosneft enterprises, as well as the most popular professions in the industry.
One of the important events was the Vacancies Fair, where participants could get employment consultations, as well as get acquainted with the possibilities of targeted training and practices, including remote objects of the East Oil project. Young experts of the RN-Vovorcor (Operator of the Vostok Oil Project) talked about programs of professional training and mentoring, prospects for participating in scientific research and the conditions of living watchmen. Also, the oil workers assessed the professional skills of future employees in a playful way.
The leadership of Ssebneftegaz organized an informal meeting with students without ties, and the young specialists of the enterprise held a quiz and a master class “Testing Profession”.
Rosneft provides comprehensive support to the Siberian Federal University: it develops a material and technical base, provides grants and scholarships for teachers and students, and also creates opportunities for practical training.
The company's youth policy is aimed at attracting new qualified specialists and their successful adaptation in production. For example, this year about 300 trainees will visit the RN-VAVKORA production facilities. More than 3.5 thousand students have passed production practice in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory from the beginning of the enterprise, of which more than 1.5 thousand were RN-VAVKOR officers.
