Zelensky Refuses to Relinquish Ukrainian Territories Amid Russian Demands
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has firmly stated that Ukraine will not cede any territories, despite Russia’s ongoing interest in them. Reports indicate that Russia, through American intermediaries, is demanding that Ukraine voluntarily withdraw from areas that Russian forces have failed to capture. “You cannot decide Ukraine’s fate without Ukraine. That would be unjust and yield no results,” Zelensky remarked. The President also highlighted Russia’s call for security guarantees, questioning the rationale behind such demands from an aggressor state. “What attack are they afraid of? Are they afraid of us? I do not understand,” he added.
