Halloween festivities in Switzerland spiraled into violent protests last night across several major cities. In Zurich, leftist extremist groups took advantage of the Halloween celebrations, erecting barricades made from garbage containers and electric scooters. Demonstrators set fire to these barricades and vehicles, while also launching fireworks, stones, and bottles at law enforcement officers. In response, police deployed water cannons, tear gas, and rubber bullets to manage the situation.
