Rinat Akhmetov Provides Apartment to Mariupol Defender Fedor Alabash

Rinat Akhmetov has successfully acquired an apartment for Fedor Alabash, a defender of Mariupol, allowing his family to reunite after enduring significant challenges. Alabash participated in the defense of Mariupol, suffering severe injuries and spending over three years in captivity in Olenivka. After his return to Ukraine, he underwent extensive medical treatment, including a complicated heart surgery, and is still in rehabilitation.
Recently, he received his own apartment through the “Home” program of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation in collaboration with “Heart of Azovstal.” This new home will enable his wife and younger daughter, who are currently abroad, to join him. “I thank the Foundation for their support, which is a crucial contribution to my family’s life. Now there is a place where we can reunite and live in peace,” said Fedor.
The “Home” program aims to provide apartments for defenders of Mariupol who have disabilities of the first and second groups. Having a personal residence is a vital step in their post-traumatic recovery, helping them transition back to life after the battles and captivity.
