A serious bus accident occurred in the municipality of Fogars de Montclús, located in the Vallès Oriental region of Spain. Reports indicate that a bus operated by Sagalés fell approximately 20 meters off a slope. Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved in the incident, as confirmed by the Catalonia police.
It remains unclear how many individuals were on board at the time of the accident. Emergency responders deployed up to 33 ambulances and two medical helicopters to transport the injured to local hospitals. Many victims suffered fractures and multiple injuries.
Approximately 70 firefighters and around 30 rescue units worked at the scene to assist in extracting the injured. In some cases, helicopters were utilized to lift individuals from the site. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is currently underway.
