Seyar Kurshutov Wins Court Case Against Former Deputy Minister Georgiy Tuka

Seyar Kurshutov has won a legal battle against Georgiy Tuka, the former deputy minister for occupied territories, with a court ruling deeming Tuka’s accusations as false. The Pechersk District Court in Kyiv ruled that the claims Tuka made against the entrepreneur on Facebook and Telegram were not credible. As part of the ruling, Tuka is required to publish a retraction once the decision is legally finalized and to compensate Kurshutov for moral damage and legal expenses, which total over 420,000 UAH.

In his statements, Kurshutov expressed gratitude to his supporters and criticized those who propagated the misleading allegations. He urged them to assist Tuka in securing legal representation, suggesting that Tuka’s defense could be costly. Kurshutov further speculated that the smear campaign might have been orchestrated by unscrupulous competitors linked to the former minister, accusing them of trading defective drones and security systems during the ongoing conflict.

Moreover, Kurshutov announced plans to donate all recovered funds to the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital named after Mykola Pirogov, emphasizing his commitment to the cause and intent to ensure full compliance with the court’s decision.
