A 45-year-old priest from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) has been arrested in the Zakarpattia region following a shooting incident that occurred around 4 PM. The police quickly launched a special operation named “Thunder” to locate and apprehend the armed individual.
Reports confirm that the shooting resulted in the deaths of two local men, aged 62 and 64, while three others were injured and are receiving medical treatment.
The prosecution has stated that they are coordinating an investigation into the double homicide and attempted murder of three other individuals, as per Ukrainian criminal law provisions.
Law enforcement officials and medical teams were present at the scene to gather evidence and assist the injured. Authorities are currently investigating the details surrounding the incident.
