U.S. Offers Incentives to Russia for Ceasefire in Energy Sector
According to reports, the United States has proposed incentives to Russia aimed at securing a ceasefire in the energy sector or maritime activities. The proposals include unfreezing Russian assets, facilitating the sale of a stake in Lukoil, and allowing Belarus to export potassium. While Kyiv has not outright rejected these offers, it demands guarantees, particularly military assistance in the event of a ceasefire violation.
