Houthi Attack on Riyadh Airport Leaves 12 Dead and 300 Injured
A missile launched by Houthi forces struck Riyadh’s airport in Saudi Arabia, causing 12 deaths and injuring more than 300 individuals. The missile hit the terminal complex designated for domestic flights, leading to a suspension of airport operations. Among the deceased are four Saudi nationals, two Bangladeshi citizens, and individuals from Palestine, the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Sudan. While the Houthis did not claim direct responsibility for the attack, they announced the airport’s “closure.” Former President Donald Trump indicated that the U.S. might consider joining Saudi Arabia in military responses against the Houthis.
