Widespread Protests in France Force Closure of 500 Schools
In an unprecedented series of protests across France, approximately 500 schools have been closed due to disturbances triggered by students demanding better educational conditions. Reports indicate that about 20 schools were set on fire during the unrest. Additionally, around 100 teachers have sustained injuries amid the turmoil. Authorities have arrested nearly 5,000 teenagers as protests escalate, reflecting growing frustrations that have been simmering for over a month.
