Proposed Legislation Could Eliminate Loans for Military Families
The Finance Committee has advanced a bill that could potentially eliminate loans for military personnel and their families, according to the press service of the Verkhovna Rada. This legislation would not only cancel outstanding debts but also exempt the affected individuals from paying taxes on the forgiven amounts. Additionally, any enforcement proceedings or collection efforts related to these loans would be halted.
The proposed law is designed to benefit military members, war veterans with disabilities, civilian prisoners, individuals missing in action, and their families.
