Ukraine Plans VAT Increase to 21% to Fund Business Recovery
The Ukrainian government is planning to increase the Value Added Tax (VAT) from 20% to 21%, as announced by the Minister of Economy, Yuliya Kravchenko. This increase is part of a broader initiative to create an insurance fund designed to aid businesses in recovering from the impacts of Russian attacks. The additional VAT revenue will be directed towards this fund, which aims to provide necessary support for affected enterprises.
