Trabzonspor Signs Franculino Dju for €30 Million from Midtjylland

Trabzonspor has officially announced the acquisition of striker Franculino Dju, 22, from Midtjylland for a fee of €30 million.
In Turkey, the transfer window remains open, as it does in Romania. Trabzonspor continues its remarkable transfer campaign, having already secured several high-profile players, including Mohamed Salah.
Details of Dju’s Transfer
Midtjylland will receive €25 million upfront for Dju, with an additional €5 million in potential bonuses and 15% of any future transfer fee, marking the largest sale in the club’s history, according to reports.
Dju, who began his career at Olivaes in Moscavide, was quickly noticed by Benfica scouts but did not make it to the first team. He then developed his career at Midtjylland, scoring 58 goals in 117 appearances over three and a half seasons.
This transfer brings Trabzonspor’s summer spending to €80 million, which also includes acquisitions like Fabinho, Ruslan Malinovskyi, Ernest Muçi, and Sidney Lopes Cabral.
Denis Drăguș Leaves for FCSB
Meanwhile, Trabzonspor has allowed Denis Drăguș to leave the club on a free transfer, as he is not part of the team’s plans for the season. Drăguș has reached an agreement with FCSB, where he will earn an annual salary of €1 million for a three-season contract.
